Clinical Medical Assistant

Learn the skills you need to become a Clinical Medical Assistant. This job is in extremely high demand at clinics and community health centers in and around Boston. You will learn about healthcare in general, phlebotomy, cardio/EKG, and labs. You will receive hands-on, individualized practice in our lab and you will also complete a 160-hour externship.

Eligibility Requirements:

  • 18+ years old
  • U.S. work authorization
  • High school diploma or GED/HiSET
  • Advanced level of English
  • Fully vaccinated against COVID-19
  • Ready and able to work right when the training ends

How to Apply:

The application period for Clinical Medical Assistant is currently closed. This training typically begins every September and February and the application will become available about one month before the class starts. There are two rounds of interviews where we will discuss the training in more detail and confirm that you meet all eligibility requirements, so we can be sure that this is the right class for you. You will also be asked to complete an English assessment.

Phlebotomy

Learn the skills you need to become a certified phlebotomist. This certification will help you find work in a hospital, community health center, or laboratory. You will receive hands-on, individualized practice in our lab and you will also complete a 120-hour externship.

  • U.S. work authorization
  • High school diploma or GED/HiSET
  • Advanced level of English
  • Fully vaccinated against COVID-19
  • Ready and able to work right when the training ends
  • Open to women only at this time

Learn the skills you need to start working with patients as a home health aide in the patient’s home, a nursing home, or a group home. You will also become CPR certified.

  • Intermediate or higher level of English
  • Fully vaccinated against COVID-19
  • Ready and able to work right when the training ends
