Clinical Medical Assistant

Learn the skills you need to become a Clinical Medical Assistant. This job is in extremely high demand at clinics and community health centers in and around Boston. You will learn about healthcare in general, phlebotomy, cardio/EKG, and labs. You will receive hands-on, individualized practice in our lab and you will also complete a 160-hour externship.

Eligibility Requirements:

  • 18+ years old
  • U.S. work authorization
  • High school diploma or GED/HiSET
  • Advanced level of English
  • Fully vaccinated against COVID-19
  • Ready and able to work right when the training ends

How to Apply:

Complete this application to be added to the waiting list. This training typically begins every September and February. There are two rounds of interviews – one virtual and one in-person – where we will discuss the training in more detail and confirm all eligibility requirements, so we can be sure this is the right class for you. We will begin contacting students on the waiting list about one month before each class begins. If you would like an update on your status on the waiting list, feel free to call or email us. Phlebotomy

Learn the skills you need to become a certified phlebotomist. This certification will help you find work in a hospital, community health center, or laboratory. You will receive hands-on, individualized practice in our lab and you will also complete a 120-hour externship.

Eligibility Requirements

  • 18+ years old
  • U.S. work authorization
  • High school diploma or GED/HiSET
  • Advanced level of English
  • Fully vaccinated against COVID-19
  • Ready and able to work right when the training ends
  • Open to women only at this time

Home Health Aide

Learn the skills you need to start working with patients as a home health aide in the patient’s home, a nursing home, or a group home. You will also become CPR certified.

Eligibility Requirements

  • 18+ years old
  • U.S. work authorization
  • High school diploma or GED/HiSET
  • Intermediate or higher level of English
  • Fully vaccinated against COVID-19
  • Ready and able to work right when the training ends
  • Open to women only at this time
